Rehabilitation is ideal for adults who have been hospitalized for a sudden condition. It provides the extra time and attention needed to relearn essential skills, improve strength and, if necessary, learn to use equipment such as walkers or wheelchairs. Older adults, who because of age or illness can no longer live safely at home on their own, are ideal candidates for our nursing care as well.

COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION SERVICES
A personalized rehabilitation program will depend on your loved one’s condition and goals. Rest assured that we have experience dealing with a wide range of injuries and conditions, such as orthopedics, heart disease, stroke and respiratory diseases.
Physical Therapists focus on neurological and muscular therapy to restore residents to their previous level of functioning. Our therapists work with residents to strengthen lower body extremities, and to restore balance and gait that will facilitate secure mobility.
Occupational Therapists focus on AOL (activities of daily living), to restore independence by strengthening upper and lower body extremities and re-training functional mobility.
Speech Therapists assess speech and cognition problems, and plan appropriate treatment to enhance those skills; we address swallowing difficulties, and prescribe individual diets to prevent aspiration.
DIETARY SERVICES
Residents enjoy nutritious meals and snacks overseen by a registered dietitian, dietary manager and dietetic technicians. Food service also includes special event/holiday meals. Snack carts are available three times a day at no charge to residents. Caring for your loved one means caring for their families and traditions.
